Our Minister
Rev. Sherrie Quander joins CMCSL from a long and varied background that has centered on championing the human spirit. Her lifelong love of people has inspired her to envision a world where each individual lives their life from their “authentic self.” As a result she has made her life vision “to inspire all those on their path to spiritual and creative self discovery.” Rev. Sherrie’s enthusiasm for living life to the fullest inspires her to support all those she comes in contact with to search out, acknowledge and accept their best personal qualities and attributes. She has taken her 25+ years of experience as a corporate human resource director and independent consultant and combined it with her intention of seeing the Divine in all to creating a vital, healing force for change. Rev. Sherrie’s list of acomplishments range from talk show host, actress, singer, performer to heading human resource departments for such companies as The Walt Disney Corporation and Columbia Pictures Television.Rev. Sherrie joins CMCSL after a long and prosperous tenure with the Granada Hills Church of Religious Science in Southern California where she earned her practitioner licensing as well completion of her SOM class training and ministerial credentials.
Sherrie received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and theater arts from Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio, and enjoys the distinction of being a member of the oldest African American family on record in the United States.
